Today is my birthday. I'm celebrating it by sharing space with things that were created hundreds of years before me and will live on for many more after me. Since my day falls on Tuesday, arguably the most boring day of the week, I was happy to find out that MASP is free today. Delacroix, Titian, Modigliani, Monet and Picasso are mine, gratuito hoje.
The building on Avenuda Paulista stands out as a flat plane against the sharp skyscrapers and hilly terrain. It's littered with street vendors, homeless people and lots of heavy police presence. Hipsters a plenty!
