The Week in Review / by Meagan Camp

Life is tough. Life is wonderful. The two are one and the same and sometimes people can't quite bring themselves to believe that. One cannot exist without the other. This week has brought out the worst in pretty much everyone and that is tough, but the uproar and chaos is wonderful. I really don't care who you voted for, but I love that you are really pissed about the situation. They said we were too apathetic, detached from reality because of coddling parents and had no work ethic to hold up the work force. A line I read the other day really sums it up for me "you can't ignore us and then trash our choices." You can't have it both ways.

You can't call us out for being loud after years of complaining that we don't care. It's hypocritical and frankly shows the wrinkles around your eyes a little too harshly in the light. Let us march, let us get passionate and let us grow up and watch the generation behind us get riled up about something completely different. You wanted us to want more than you, well you got it.
